Few people know what danger the common keyboard contains. If the keyboard isn’t cleaned everyday the number of the bacteria can become greater than the one in the toilet. The diseases that they can cause are from a light Diarrhea to Sepsis. The most common cases of ”Keyboard infections” we can get when using a dirty keyboard are Diarrhea and some diseases of the Respiratory System. A Study shows that we can find 2500 kinds of bacteria on the common keyboard. There’s a list with just some of them and what they can do to you!

Bakterie Pseudomonas luteola – Can cause infection of the blood and the connective woven, peritonitis, meningitis, endocarditis and even an infection of the spinal cord.

Micrococcus sedentarius – Can cause peeling of the skin.

Staphylococcus haemolyticus – Can cause infection of the bones.

Pseudomonas oryzihabitans – Responsible for the inflammation of the eyes.

Staphylococcus aureus – Responsible for the formation of skin sores and abscesses, sour throat, sinusitis, infections of the lungs and kidneys .

Staphylococcus epidermidis – Can cause infection of the urinary pathways, blood poisoning, infection of the eyes.

Bacillus subtilis – Can cause some gastric diseases, infection of the lungs and the blood also can cause sepsis.

Good thing we have an immune system that protects us!
